A Case Report of Odontogenic Fibromyxoma of Maxilla.

Abstract
|
|
|
The author has treated a 23-year-old male patient with odontogenic fibromyxoma.
The results were as follows
1. Excision of odontogenic fibromyxoma of maxilla was performed by application of Caldwell-luc´s operation.
2. The lesion developed intraosseously, maxillary sinus was involved by tumor mass.
3. Facial swelling & right maxillary molar area mobility was revealed.
4. Microscopic examination revealed typical fibromyxoma. It was made up of loosely arranged, spindle-shaped & stellate cells, many of which have long fibrillar processes that tend to intermesh.
5. Radiographic findings revealed destructive, expanding radiolucency.
